Still breaking even... ...

My past 40k hands... ...

I thought I was out of the breakeven stretch when my green line surge forward. But I came crushing back again again..... And what happen to my red line?!!

Variance or due to tilted play?

  1. Hey, I found your blog when doing a search for zoom poker related stuff.
Is this a graph for Zoom poker at 25NL? If so then it displays similar properties to my graph at 10NL. Basically, I'm finding it very hard to get value from my made hands. Is this the same for you?
I'd not worry about your red line, 10 buy-ins loss over 40k hands seems very reasonable to me based on what I've seen before - unless you're targeting your profit coming from aggression rather than going to showdown with the best hand. I guess that could be the way to go in Zoom.
Anyway, sorry for rambling. Best of luck and hope they flick the boom switch for your next set of hands.

  2. Yupz, this is the graph for 25NL Zoom poker.

With regards to getting value for made hands, yes, it is harder to extract value in Zoom. Hand reading becomes more important in this type of game. If you are able to put villains on a strong hand, bet bigger and vice versa.
