ReplyDeleteJust a couple of comments on the hands. Please excuse me if I appear like I'm critising your play but I would like to give you my opinion if you like. Maybe you could explain why you played it differently than I would.
So first hand is obviously a cooler.
Second hand, I don't think we're ever good on that turn? There are so many hands he will call our flop bet with which have improved to two pair plus which is why I guess you check/called the turn. If he floated the flop with air and bet the turn as a bluff, I think on this board hese not bluffing the river and certainly not with that size. As played the river is a check/fold imo.
Third hand with the set vs flush, why are you not stacking off on the flop? did you suspect the flush and call just in case the turn paired so you could get your money in then? I think his range for stacking off on flop is two pair, set, pair and flush draw, Khx and when you raise him again, he'll give up his bluffs many of which might have a random heart. If the turn is another heart this is a huge action killer.
Fourth hand is pretty standard.
Last hand, Why are you flatting Aces against a 3bet and a call? I get that its for deception but what was your plan postflop? on what board textures are you happy? Are you folding if your c/r got raised? Especially since MP1 3bet your UTG+1 open, it seems like a pretty strong move and MP2 flatting seems like dead money to me. Obviously you won the hand, which is a great result but if you don't 4bet AA how weak is your 4betting range? I don't mind the very rare occasion where you call with AA out of position but I am certainly not doing it multiway.That was a good flop for a check raise but what if the flop came 578ss or KT9r etc. When MP1 3bets your UTG+1 raise, that looks really strong, so why not 4 bet and see if hese willing to stack off preflop? If you played it the same way on a different flop texture I think you would be value towning yourself a lot.
My apologies if it felt like I was attacking the way you play but I certainly don't mean it that way and maybe fullring plays differently or you had some very specific reads on players.
